The newly-developed intra-uterus contraceptive device (IUCD) framed with TiNi shape memory alloy is a major breakthrough in the human society. This innovation was highly appraised by UNESCO officials and found great popularity all around the world.

Good Biocompatibility
    Scaffold made of Nitinol,a new biomaterial whose biocompatibility has long been established through 20 years of world wide extensive studies and various medical applications of shape memory devices including orthopedic devices, nonvascular and cardio-vascular stents.

Minimally Invasive
    Unique shape design and material selection warrant that a retentive and tender expansive force is supplied to both arms of the device: "Retentive" as the scaffolding wire may be subject to elasticity in excess of 10%with very high fatigue resistance; "Ternder" as this pseudo-elastic material is characterized by a stress plateau that exerts an expansive force almost unchanged with deformation extent.
    This unique design and material selection renders the device highly functional with small copper exposure area (100mm2) which minimizes concerns over the side effect of excess copper ions.Its simple structure also eliminates foldings or cross points that may act as site for of bacteria accumulation which could pose as imflammatory risk.

Superior Clinical Effect
Among the 2100clinical cases for 12 months of observation,only 1 case was subject to displacement and no woman was pregnant with very little complications or side effect.

Long Service Life
It can be safely and effectively used for over 100years as calculated from the release or erosion rate of the copper ends and the body material.Its recommended service life is evaluated to be 20-30 years though the final time shall depend on further clinical observations.

Easy Insertion and Withdrawal
The shape design and good elasticity of the body structure enable convenient insertion and withdrawal through low profile catheters.
