Micro contact
profiles (contact tape, crossbar contact)
are new type of clad materials with characters
of small volume, several metal layers and
special cross sections, which can meet requirements
of miniature electric apparatus.
Micro contact Profiles have advantages in
low contact resistance, high reliability and
minimum usage of precious metals, in which
precious metals are clad with base metals.
They have been widely used in relays, mini-keys,
switches etc., because of their small volume,
many functions, high reliability and long
service time. Micro contact profiles composed
of solid material, bimetal or trimetal up
to 5 layers, can be made according to customers'
requirements.

Introduction

| The
contact materials are Ag, AgCdO, AgSnO, AgCu, AgCe,
AgNi, AgNi0.15 etc., and Cu or Cu alloys are as base
material. These composite contacts have been widely
put into use in switches, temperature controllers and
time controllers etc.. The methods making Bolt Type
Contacts and Button Type Contacts have got state patent
right. (The numbers : ZL00263237.3 and ZL91101568.X)
The state standard (GB11096-89) of "Precious Metals
and Their Alloys-Bimetal Electrical contacts of Rivet
Type" was formulated by Grikin Advanced Materials Co.,
LTD.
